The Most Animal-Friendly Celebrity in Britain 2007

In 2007, our supporters voted Joanna Lumley the most animal friendly celebrity in Britain.  A committed vegetarian, Joanna helps many animal causes the world over and it is a fitting tribute to her work that she was voted first in our 2007 poll.

Our volunteer CEO has had the pleasure of meeting Joanna at a charity event many years ago and her professionalism and determination to help all the causes she was involved with came out of every pore of her body.  Her work across a range of causes continues and she is a genuine generous and supportive person for so many causes.
