We are often asked to take in owls at Farplace.  Two recent owls are pictured here.  The Tawny Owl (top) was recently found by the roadside by one of our neighbours.  The owl was un-hurt, but totally exhausted and in shock.  After a good rest and a check-up from our vet, the owl was sent to an owl rehabitation centre centre to fully recover.

The barn owl (below) was found by our Head of Animal Care.  She too was un-hurt, but very thin.  She hadnt had a good meal in a while.  This owl was taken to an experienced home for rest and recovery.  She has since been released.
