Pet memorial plaques can be wall mounted or simply placed on the ground. Freestanding pet memorial stones are available and are generally thick pieces of slate or paddle stones with a flat bottome to ensure sturdy positioning.
How we choose Pet Stones
All our stones are meticulously hand picked from a quarry in North Wales. We check for cracks and sound surfaces before shipping back to the workshop in Surrey.
Maintaining a Stone Pet Marker
They will not rot or tarnish as wooden pet memorials or metal can, or get frost damage that some pet urns can. A stone pet memorial requires only minimal maintenance. You may need to raise your pet memorial stone slightly off the earth to protect it from frost damage in exposed areas. We recommend a layer of gravel underneath to give your memorial some protection.
