Beauty was found high on the moors on a cold autumn morning. She was so hungry she was trying to eat old road-kill. She was taken to our vet to check for a microchip – and we found she had terminal cancer.
In spite of her health problems, she was a wonderfully friendly, happy dog who loved to play ball, and always greeted us with a waggy tail.
Her cancer was too advanced to attempt surgery or chemo, so we made her feel more comfortable with a combination of contemporary and homeopathic veterinary treatments.
We shared 3 wonderful weeks with this sweet girl, before our veterinary team told us she was in too much pain and that it would be in her best interests to let her go.
We were with her as the vet helped her gently to sleep.
Rest in Peace Beauty. We loved you so much.
